Setting SMART Goals to Keep You on track

Whether you’re a tech whizz, a creative soul, or a corporate climber, setting goals is like putting on a comfy pair of shoes for your learning journey—it just makes everything easier!

Let’s face it; just saying “I want to learn something new” isn’t enough. So, let’s dive into the magic of SMART goals. They’re specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound—just what you need to add a little sparkle to your learning path!

SMART Goals are:

Specific: Keep it clear and precise. Instead of saying, “I want to get better at design,” try “I’ll learn Adobe Illustrator basics.”

- Measurable: You need a way to track your progress. “I’ll create three design projects” sounds much more motivating! Assign a number ie ‘how many’ or ‘how much’

- Achievable: Make sure your goal is within reach. Setting a goal too far out can feel daunting.Consider reality while aiming for the stars.

- Relevant: Your goals should resonate with your broader aspirations. If you're in marketing then learning AI tools makes sense.

- Time-bound: Set a deadline! This helps you stay focused. “I will complete this course by the end of the month” gives you a timeline to work with.

Happy learning, and may your goals guide you to new heights!
